TALKIN' BASEBALL WITH MARY --
Hey baseball fans --
No, it's not July, but it's baseball in St.
Louis. Every year during the Martin Luther King weekend, St. Louis has an off-season baseball event called Cardinal's Winter Warm-up. It is a
weekend where there is everything baseball. Downtown in a hotel right by Busch Stadium we have a baseball party. .
There are
autograph sessions with our favorite players, Q&A presentations
about baseball in St. Louis, you can shop for your baseball needs ,
there is ball park food, Fredbird (Cardinal mascot) is there to make us
laugh, and much, much more.
There's nothing like spending a weekend with thousands of happy
baseball fans (and it's not just the Bud-Light that makes us happy, it's love for our game)! Winter Warm-up is a fund-raiser to benefit Cardinals Care, so we're doing something good for people and having a fun too!
It's
a blast! Come over to St. Louis to check it out some time. I think
you'll love it. You realize just how much you miss the game.
P.S.
Congratulations to my baseball friend, Marty The Sign Man, who recently
was inducted to the Missouri Baseball Hall of Fame. He's the first fan to get
in. Good job - we love your signs. You're a #1 Cardinal fan. Also,
thanks for the evil Cub shirt. It's fun!
.
Game on (almost),
Mary
