January 29. When Joe Torre came to Los Angeles, Larry Bowa was the first person he hired for the team. In fact, Bowa was Torre's right-hand man in New York. The Dodger third base coach doesn't want to think about the Dodgers starting the season Mannyless. "It's not a pretty picture." he said "Without Manny in the lineup, I won't say we can't score runs, but we'll be like we were at the beginning of last year." He's right, they did get better. They went from 54-55 without Ramirez to 30-23 with the All-Star. I bet he stays in LA LA land. I hope he makes a decision soon, I'm getting tired of looking at this picture!
