Hello baseball fans. Yes I'm back again to give you some more of the news that's going on in baseball. I like to keep you updated on the stories. I've got the game on, of course, and I just heard something that might interest my Cub and Cardinal readers. The Cubs and Cardinals have been rivals since the 1800s (I didn't catch actual year, but you get the point - a long time). The numbers over the years for wins are: Cubs have 1,147 and Cardinals have 1,079. Bunches of games we've been sweet rivals!
This is what is happening over the weekend.

CHICAGO CUBBIES - Milton Bradley disagreed with a call from the umpire on Thursday. There is what was called "contact" that happened after that fall. I heard that Bradley bumped the umpire. I was watching the game and didn't see anything, but that doesn't matter it. It can happen fast.
Major League Baseball handed him a two-day suspension today. Bradley intends to appeal the suspension, so he won't have to serve the suspension immediately. He declined to comment today, reserving his comments for the appeal process.
Matski Knees Take Turn for Worse

NEW YORK YANKEES - There are injuries everywhere and they say Hideki Matski has had a setback with his knees. He has had surgery on both knees during the past year. Manager Joe Girardi said yesterday that things have taken a turn for the worse - at least the left one.
Matski is downplaying the situation and says that there is less fluid on it today than yesterday. He said, "I think it is basically the running that indirectly affects it. . .it hasn't affected my hitting." His batting average so far this season is only .148, so something is affecting his hitting.
