Mets fans are happy about the Carlos Beltran diagnosis. The doctor at the Steadman Clinic in Vail said he is only suffering from a bone bruise. Don't worry - be happy!
Beltran has been asked by his doctor to be inactive until after the All-Star break is over. Good news for Mets fans. Game on.
CLEVELAND INDIANS - 7/1/09
Trades trades are everywhere. As the trade deadline approaches, there are rumors about teams interested in dealing their players elsewhere . The Cleveland Indians just traded their vet player, Mark DeRosa, to the St. Louis Cardinals (we're happy, man). There are also some rumors that they may be interested to trade pitchers Carl Pavano and Kerry Wood. Catcher Victor Martinez could be next too - if the price is right.
Other teams that might have players to trade are the Orioles, Nationals, Royals and D-Backs (glad Cardinals aren't on the list). Wild isn't it. Baseball is a business, isn't it.
